This third wave of AI, known as \u2018agentic AI,\u2019 represents a fundamental shift in how we think about and interact with artificial intelligence in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>To appreciate where we\u2019re heading, it\u2019s essential to understand where we\u2019ve been. \u201cThe first wave was really predictive AI,\u201d explains Silvio Savarese, Executive Vice President and Chief Scientist of Salesforce AI Research. This initial wave enabled businesses to forecast trends and make data-driven decisions.
