Previously known as Strawberry, the company says these releases can \u201creason through complex tasks and solve harder problems than previous models in science, coding, and math.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although it\u2019s still a <a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/index\/introducing-openai-o1-preview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">preview<\/a>, OpenAI states this is the first of this series in ChatGPT and on its API, with more to come.<\/p>\n<p>The company says these models have been training to \u201cspend more time thinking through problems before they respond, much like a person would.
