The bricks could have a role in circular construction in which materials are used over and over again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGlass as a structural material kind of breaks people\u2019s brains a little bit,\u201d says Michael Stern, a former MIT graduate student and researcher in both MIT\u2019s Media Lab and Lincoln Laboratory. \u201cWe\u2019re showing this is an opportunity to push the limits of what\u2019s been done in architecture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stern is also the founder of MIT spinoff, Evenline.
