I smell BS.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bankofengland.co.uk\/publications\/Pages\/speeches\/2015\/864.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">speech<\/a> delivered yesterday by Bank economist Andy Haldane at the Trades Union Congress in London, he predicted that robots could quickly \u201chollow out\u201d the middle class, shrinking the need for human-only skills, especially in clerical, production, and administrative jobs.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s true\u2014I think robots <em>will<\/em> appear more in those sectors.
