This fascinating new system is capable of far more than what could be executed with human pilots.<\/p>\n<p>The staff of the Department of Biological Physics at E\u00f6tv\u00f6s University has been working on group robotics and <a href=\"https:\/\/techxplore.com\/tags\/drone\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">drone<\/a> swarms since 2009. In 2014, they created the world\u2019s first autonomous quadcopter flock consisting of at least ten units.
