Was it warmer and wetter than it is today or cold and icy like present day Mars? This is what a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s43247-024-01495-4\">recent study<\/a> published in <em>Communications Earth &amp; Environment<\/em> hopes to address as a team of researchers comprised of NASA scientists and academics <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2024\/07\/240710195336.htm\">investigated whether past climates on Mars<\/a> mirrored today\u2019s climate or were much warmer and had liquid water.
