Credit: K.A<\/p>\n<p>Automobile emissions in the United States could be slashed by half within the next eight years, thanks to new standards finalised and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/regulations-emissions-vehicles-and-engines\/final-rule-multi-pollutant-emissions-standards-model\" target=\"_blank\">published today<\/a> by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
