Jim Farley, <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/guides\/ford\/\">Ford\u2019s<\/a> CEO, said if you cannot compete with the Chinese, \u201cthen 20% to 30%\u201d of your revenue is at risk.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a <a href=\"https:\/\/shareholder.ford.com\/Investors\/events\/event-details\/2024\/Farley-Lawler-to-Discuss-Customer-Focused-Ford-Growth-Plan-at-Feb-15-Wolfe-Conference-2024-cQyaTFn3L0\/default.aspx\">Wolfe Research conference<\/a> Wednesday, Farley explained, \u201cAs the CEO of a company that had trouble competing with the Japanese and the South Koreans, we have to fix this problem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ford\u2019s leader explained that the company \u201cdecided pretty quickly to bet on smaller EV platform.\u201d He said since the middle of 2023, \u201cWe have assumed that we have to basically sell an EV at a hybrid premium.
