The resulting material can then be tuned to exhibit three important properties never before seen in natural graphite.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is kind of like one-stop shopping,\u201d says Long Ju, an assistant professor in the Department of Physics and leader of the work, which is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41565-023-01520-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported in the Oct. 5 issue<\/a> of <em>Nature Nanotechnology<\/em>. \u201cNature has plenty of surprises.
