The news comes after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/technology-67826601\" class=\"\"><em>New York Times<\/em> sued<\/a> Microsoft and OpenAI, alleging it was responsible for \u201cbillions of dollars\u201d in damages by training ChatGPT and other large language models on its content without express permission.
