For their study, the researchers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cell.com\/cell\/fulltext\/S0092-8674(23)01087-5\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">used<\/a> two sets of DNA: stem cells from a cynomolgus (crab-eating macaque) <a href=\"https:\/\/nextshark.com\/tag\/monkey\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\"> monkey<\/a> and a genetically distinct four-to five-day-old embryo from the same species.
