While LFP batteries are generally categorized as less energy-dense, ZEEKR says its cells outperform many competitors.<\/p>\n<p>While many companies have begun decelerating in 2023 as we enter the busy holiday season, ZEEKR has shown no signs of slowing down. In November, the Geely-owned automaker announced a new model called the 7, which made its public debut during the <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2023\/11\/17\/guangzhou-auto-show-bev-debuts-xpeng-zeekr-li-auto-byd-ev-mg\/\">Guangzhou Auto Show<\/a>. Since then, we\u2019ve seen the company <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2023\/11\/10\/zeekr-files-us-ipo-first-exterior-images-007-sedan-pre-orders\/\">file for a US IPO<\/a> and have confirmed plans for <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2023\/11\/22\/zeekr-developing-new-mass-market-suv-to-challenge-tesla-model-y-ev\/\">a new mass-market SUV<\/a> to compete with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carsdirect.com\/buildyourcar\/style?make=tesla&model=model-y&src=1001054&lnk=subIDSCOOTER\">Tesla Model Y<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The ZEEKR 7 sedan will officially launch in China on December 27, followed by deliveries a few days later.
