The Antares 330 rocket is designed to carry more than 22,000 lbs of cargo to the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/16748-international-space-station.html\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/16748-international-space-station.html\">International Space Station<\/a> (10,000 kg), while the MLV will be able to loft 35,000 lbs (16,000 kg) of payload to <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/low-earth-orbit\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/low-earth-orbit\">low Earth orbit<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Firefly Aerospace conducted the first hot fire test of its new Miranda rocket engine, producing a massive plume of green flames.
