The study, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.science.org\/doi\/10.1126\/scitranslmed.adi1617\">published<\/a> in <i>Science Translational Medicine<\/i>, showed that mice who received this treatment lived significantly longer than mice in the control group.<\/p>\n<p>Medulloblastoma, a <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/brain+cancer\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">brain cancer<\/a> that predominantly affects children, often begins with a tumor deep inside the <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/brain\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">brain<\/a>.
