The model is expected to be <a href=\"https:\/\/the-decoder.com\/google-begins-external-testing-of-its-gpt-4-competitor-gemini\/\">released later this year<\/a>. In the recent quarterly earnings call, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai said that Google is \u201cgetting the model ready\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Gemini will be released in different sizes and with different capabilities, and will be used for all internal products immediately, Pichai said. So it is likely that Gemini will replace Google\u2019s current PaLM-2 language model.
