The new API tier is called the \u201cDiscovery Tier,\u201d and while it\u2019s currently free, that\u2019s expected to change moving into 2024 \u2014 though Tesla has yet to detail price points or plans for additional tiers.<\/p>\n<p>Eventually, Tesla is likely to debut its own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teslarati.com\/tesla-app-store-in-car-video-conference-call\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App Store<\/a>, generating money from developers who want to develop and host their own services and apps on the automaker\u2019s in-car platform.
