But don\u2019t be fooled by the \u201ccandy\u201d label. As Andrew Richdale <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saveur.com\/scandinavian-salt-licorice-salmiak\/\">wrote for Saveur<\/a> back in 2017, salmiak tastes nothing like any other candy you have ever tried.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe first time I sampled salmiak\u2026 I spit it out on a Copenhagen street corner.
