CEO Andy Jassy noted on Amazon\u2019s latest earnings call that every division has multiple generative AI projects in the works.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInside Amazon, every one of our teams is working on building generative AI applications that reinvent and enhance their customers\u2019 experience,\u201d. \u201cBut while we will build a number of these applications ourselves, most will be built by other companies, and we\u2019re optimistic that the largest number of these will be built on. Remember, the core of AI is data. People want to bring generative AI models to the data, not the other way around.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To that end, Jassy said that AWS provides <a data-i13n=\"cpos:4;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/amazon-introduces-bedrock-a-cloud-service-for-ai-generated-text-and-images-204556563.html\" data-ylk=\"elm: context_link;cpos:4;pos:1;itc:0\">services<\/a> and infrastructure that can help its customers, as <a data-i13n=\"cpos:6;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2023\/8\/3\/23819442\/amazon-generative-ai-ceo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"elm: context_link;cpos:6;pos:1;itc:0\"><em><\/em><\/a> notes.
