And scientists were perplexed to find just how small the celestial object\u2019s central black hole measures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis black hole clocks in at about 9 million solar masses,\u201d according to a NASA news <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/feature\/goddard\/2023\/webb-detects-most-distant-active-supermassive-black-hole-to-date\" target=\"_blank\">release<\/a>.
