KCBS Radio\u2019s Holly Quan spoke with Ryan Bena, a PhD student at the University of Southern California and co-author of the study about the project.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEssentially we built this this robot \u2013 it\u2019s about 95 milligrams,\u201d he explained. \u201cSo it\u2019s roughly the size of\u2026 an actual insect bee. And we use flapping wings.
