The reveal comes just <em>*checks calendar*<\/em> four days before Apple is set to officially announce its high-end mixed reality headset. So much for Apple\u2019s headset hype, I guess.<\/p>\n<p>All kidding aside, Meta bought its way into virtual reality years ago through Oculus when Zuck\u2019s company was still trading under the name Facebook. Meta certainly has more experience selling VR headsets and<a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2023\/05\/29\/apple-headset-vr-concerts\/\"> throwing VR parties<\/a> than Apple \u2013 for now, at least.<\/p>\n<p>Like the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3MNBNuk\">Meta Quest 2<\/a>, the newly unveiled Meta Quest 3 is also in another universe when it comes to pricing. Apple\u2019s \u201cReality Pro\u201d headset is expected to carry a price tag of around $3,000.
