Most of the searches have so far looked for events where a \u201cweakly interacting\u201d dark-matter particle is produced alongside a known <a href=https:\/\/scitechdaily.com\/science-made-simple-what-is-the-standard-model-of-particle-physics\/>Standard-Model particle<\/a>.
