Textiles have become a choice material for constructing many types of soft robots, especially wearables, but the traditional \u201ccut and sew\u201d methods of manufacturing have left much to be desired.<\/p>\n<p>Now, researchers at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) have established a new approach for additively manufacturing <a href=\"https:\/\/techxplore.com\/tags\/soft+robotics\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">soft robotics<\/a>, using a 3D knitting method that can holistically \u201cprint\u201d entire soft robots.
