Examples have been popping up all over the web \u2014 generating pictures and videos (a la \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/thiscitydoesnotexist.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">this city does not exist<\/a>\u201d). AIs can even generate convincing <a href=\"https:\/\/notrealnews.net\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">news articles<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thisfoodblogdoesnotexist.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">food blogs<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/thispersondoesnotexist.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">human faces<\/a> (take a look <a href=\"https:\/\/thisxdoesnotexist.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> for a complete list of all the oddities created by GANs).<\/p>\n<p>Now, researchers from Estonia are going more in-depth with deepfakes of human DNA.
