This is one of the reasons why only 10% of people with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kidney.org\/atoz\/content\/about-chronic-kidney-disease\">chronic kidney disease<\/a> know that they have it,\u201d says Dr. Joseph Vassalotti, Chief Medical Officer at the National Kidney Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>While the only way to know for sure if you have kidney disease is to get tested, Dr. Vassalotti shares <strong>10 possible signs you may have kidney disease.<\/strong> If you\u2019re at risk for kidney disease due to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kidney.org\/atoz\/what-high-blood-pressure\">high blood pressure<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kidney.org\/atoz\/atozTopic_Diabetes\">diabetes<\/a>, a family history of kidney failure or if you\u2019re older than age 60, it\u2019s important to get tested annually for kidney disease.
