And, by the way, it\u2019s probably a fixed-wing plane.<\/p>\n<p>That, at least, is the idea behind DARPA\u2019s SPRINT X-plane, a project in the beginning stages of development for use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sandboxx.us\/blog\/what-is-ussocom-and-what-units-fall-under-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">by the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM)<\/a>. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency recently called for proposals for a plane with a mind-bending set of capabilities.
