This multi-center trial is the largest trial to examine the safety and effectiveness of transcatheter <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/tags\/mitral+valve+repair\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">mitral-valve repair<\/a> in a <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/tags\/heart\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">heart<\/a> failure population using Abbott\u2019s MitraClip system.
