And humanoid robots, robots resembling the human body in shape, are one of the most popular forms of AI. However, a lot of work, finances, and research are put into making these humanoid robots.<\/p>\n<p>The field is already crowded with a number of companies with interesting projects, such as Boston Dynamics\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inceptivemind.com\/bipedal-robot-atlas-learns-perception-object-manipulation-sick-flips\/29308\/\">Atlas robot<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inceptivemind.com\/elon-musk-presents-tesla-bot-humanoid-robot\/20682\/\">Tesla\u2019s much-hyped Optimus prototype<\/a> designed to be \u201cgeneral purpose.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This week, an AI Robotics startup, Figure, has unveiled Figure 1, the world\u2019s first commercially viable general-purpose humanoid robot.
