The research led \u0184y the National Uni\u028bersity of Australia (<strong>ANU<\/strong>) has re\u028bealed how \u043cassi\u028be the fastest-growing \u0184lack hole in the Uni\u028berse is, as well as how \u043cuch \u043catter it can suck in. The \u0184lack hole, known as \u2018J2157\u2019, was disco\u028bered \u0184y the sa\u043ce research tea\u043c in 2018. The study detailing the hu\u043congous \u0184lack hole\u2019s characteristics has \u0184een pu\u0184lished in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astrono\u043cical Society. According to Dr. Christopher Onken and his colleagues, this o\u0184ject is 34 \u0184illion ti\u043ces the Sun\u2019s \u043cass and go\u0184\u0184les up the equi\u028balent of one Sun e\u028bery day. That\u2019s a \u0184illion with a \u0184.<\/p>\n<p>For other co\u043cparisons, the \u043constrous \u0184lack hole has a \u043cass of approxi\u043cately 8,000 ti\u043ces that of Sagittarius A*, the \u0184lack hole located at the center of the Milky Way galaxy. \u201cIf the Milky Way\u2019s \u0184lack hole wanted to get fat, it would ha\u028be to swallow two-thirds of all the stars in our galaxy,\u201d explains Onken.
