J. Goldsmid, professor emeritus at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia, to create a one-stop method for evaluating the efficiency of <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/thermoelectric+materials\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">thermoelectric materials<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Goldsmid is considered by many to be the \u201cfather of thermoelectrics\u201d for his pioneering work in thermoelectric materials.
