Currently, all of this data sits in banks of servers stored in huge warehouses (data centers).<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the answer to creating more space in <a href=\"https:\/\/studyfinds.org\/cybersecurity-breach-personal-data\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cthe cloud\u201d<\/a> is not just to build more server warehouses. The Aston team says data centers already use up 1.5 percent of the world\u2019s electricity every year.
