The companies just announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/motional.com\/news\/motional-and-uber-announce-industry-leading-multimarket-commercial-agreement-autonomous-ride\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/motional.com\/news\/motional-and-uber-announce-industry-leading-multimarket-commercial-agreement-autonomous-ride\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" aria-label=\"10-year agreement\">10-year agreement<\/a> to bring millions of autonomous rides across the Uber network. Following deployment in Las Vegas, a broader rollout is being planned for Los Angeles. Motional\u2019s Hyundai IONIQ 5 robotaxis have been making Uber Eats deliveries in Santa Monica since May as part of a pilot.<\/p>\n<p>In Miami, Uber Eats is rolling out sidewalk delivery robots with Cartken\u2019s AI-powered carriers. The robotics company founded by ex-Google engineers currently operates across <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/grubhub-and-cartken-partner-to-bring-robot-delivery-to-college-campuses-301566245.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/grubhub-and-cartken-partner-to-bring-robot-delivery-to-college-campuses-301566245.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" aria-label=\"college campuses\">college campuses<\/a> with food delivery services like GrubHub.
