The paper that describes their findings was published on October 12th in the <em><em><a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/mnrasl\/article\/517\/1\/L86\/6755525?login=false\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer\">Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society Letters<\/a><\/em><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Galaxies are typically divided into three main classes based on size, shape, and composition.
