It can have the same biochemical make up as animal milk, but is grown using an emerging biotechnology technique know as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/ecos.csiro.au\/whats-brewing-precision-fermentation\/\">precision fermentation<\/a>\u201d that produces biomass cultured from cells.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fao.org\/3\/CA2929EN\/ca2929en.pdf\">More than 80 percent<\/a> of the world\u2019s population regularly consume dairy products.
