Now, scientists have succeeded in producing good quality concrete in which all of the aggregate has been replaced with tire particles.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>In recent years, we\u2019ve heard about efforts to replace <i>some<\/i> of the aggregate used in concrete with <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/newatlas.com\/tire-fibers-concrete\/50023\/\" data-cms-ai=\"0\">crumbled used tires<\/a>. Now, however, scientists have succeeded in producing good quality concrete in which <i>all<\/i> of the aggregate has been replaced with tire particles.<\/p>\n<p>Concrete consists of three parts: water, a cement which binds everything together, and an aggregate such as sand or gravel.
