Before I get to how the company is doing this, let\u2019s take a look at the problem first, so we can fully appreciate its solution.<\/p>\n<p><b>Why We Aren\u2019t Seeing Too Many Rural Charging Stations In The US<\/b><\/p>\n<p>No matter where you\u2019re putting in a charging station, one of the biggest costs will be dealing with the power company. Of course, you\u2019re going to buy electricity to power a charging station. That\u2019s a given. But, if you take a closer look at your electric company\u2019s rates, you\u2019ll see that there are residential and commercial rates, and that the commercial rates include something called Demand Charges.
