Universities Space Research Association (USRA) <\/strong>today announced the start of operations for phase-2 of DARPA\u2019s Optimization with Noisy Intermediate Scale Quantum devices (ONISQ) program. This award follows the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.darpa.mil\/news-events\/2020-05-11a\" target=\"_blank\"> ONISQ phase 1 launch<\/a> in 2020, in which USRA was selected to lead the \u201cScheduling Applications with Advanced Mixers\u201d (SAAM) project, in collaboration with Rigetti Computing and, through DARPA, under DARPA-NASA Interagency agreement (IAA) 8,839 Annex 114, with the NASA Quantum AI Laboratory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Columbia, Maryland \u2014 January 27, 2022.
