It has endured over 50 trips around the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/58-the-sun-formation-facts-and-characteristics.html\">sun<\/a> despite experimental physicists constantly probing for cracks in the model\u2019s foundations.<\/p>\n<p>With few exceptions, it has stood up to this scrutiny, passing experimental test after experimental test with flying colors.
