It makes <a class=\"\" data-id=\"embedded internal links\" data-type=\"link\" data-url=\"https:\/\/interestingengineering.com\/the-main-parts-of-a-solar-pv-system\" href=\"https:\/\/interestingengineering.com\/the-main-parts-of-a-solar-pv-system\" rel=\"dofollow\" target=\"_blank\">switching to solar energy<\/a> sleeker by replacing regular roof tiles with energy-generating solar roof tiles, instead of having to install bulky solar panels. Tesla offers a 25-year warranty on the tiles and takes end-to-end responsibility for installing the new solar roof.<\/p>\n<p>However, the company has so far struggled to make its product mainstream due to fluctuations in pricing, <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2021\/11\/01\/tesla-launches-new-solar-roof-tiles-more-power-higher-efficiency\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Electrek reported<\/a>.
