Also too loud, but would be a nice start point for an Ion Drive flight system.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>\n<strong>By Jim Magill<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Looking like a micro-sized version of the <em>Death Star<\/em>, the Dronut X1, which Boston-based start-up <a href=\"https:\/\/cleorobotics.com\">Cleo Robotics<\/a> released for commercial use earlier this month, is the first professional-grade bi-rotor ducted-fan drone \u2013 a drone without exposed rotor blades \u2013 built to conduct inspections in close-quartered and hazardous environments.<\/p>\n<p>Its unique design, featuring hidden propellers and rounded form, means the Dronut is collision-tolerant and can be operated near sensitive equipment, Cleo Robotics\u2019 CEO and co-founder Omar Eleryan said in an interview.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For scanning underground structures and caves.
