The answer? Almost definitely not.<\/p>\n<p>The catch is that controlling a super-intelligence far beyond human comprehension would require a simulation of that super-intelligence which we can analyze. But if we\u2019re unable to comprehend it, it\u2019s impossible to create such a simulation.<\/p>\n<p>Rules such as \u2018cause no harm to humans\u2019 can\u2019t be set if we don\u2019t understand the kind of scenarios that an AI is going to come up with, suggest the authors of the 2021 paper.
