The test flight was part of South Korea\u2019s Minister for Land, Infrastructure, and Transport\u2019s (MoLIT\u2019s) UAM demonstration event \u2013 \u2018Open the Urban Sky.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Seoul is now the second city in Asia where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inceptivemind.com\/tag\/Volocopter\/\">Volocopter<\/a> has conducted test flights of its air taxi, following the first successful public flight trial over Singapore\u2019s Marina Bay area in 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>German urban air mobility (UAM) company, Volocopter, has completed the first-ever crewed public test flight with its 2X aircraft in Seoul, South Korea.
