And <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2021\/06\/30\/energica-shows-off-its-new-higher-power-lighter-electric-motorcycle-motor\/\">Energicas<\/a> are a couple thousand more than that. But somehow a little-known, highway-capable electric motorcycle popped up in North America for just US $5,990, and it seems like no one noticed. I\u2019m talking about the Kollter ES1 electric motorcycle.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve been discussing <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2020\/01\/08\/chinese-electric-motorcycles-sur-ron-niu-evoke-voge-er10\/\">a potential impending influx of affordable electric motorcycles from Asia<\/a> for several years now.
