Earlier this month, ABB unveiled the world\u2019s fastest electric car charger, <a class=\"\" data-id=\"embedded internal links\" data-type=\"link\" data-url=\"https:\/\/interestingengineering.com\/worlds-fastest-ev-charger-is-in-the-works-a-full-battery-in-less-than-15-mins\" href=\"https:\/\/interestingengineering.com\/worlds-fastest-ev-charger-is-in-the-works-a-full-battery-in-less-than-15-mins\" rel=\"dofollow\" target=\"_blank\">the Terra 360<\/a>, which is capable of fully charging an EV battery in less than 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>In its statement, Lilium says its new system will be able to fully charge <a class=\"\" data-id=\"embedded internal links\" data-type=\"link\" data-url=\"https:\/\/interestingengineering.com\/flying-taxi-lilium-unveils-aircraft-design\" href=\"https:\/\/interestingengineering.com\/flying-taxi-lilium-unveils-aircraft-design\" rel=\"dofollow\" target=\"_blank\">a Lilium Jet<\/a> from zero power in only 30 minutes. It will also be able to reach 80 percent from zero in only fifteen minutes, meaning that incredibly short charging times can be scheduled depending on the travel destination.
