Their outsides aren\u2019t the only thing that\u2019s tough either, with scientists finding last year that they also have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencealert.com\/we-re-a-little-closer-to-understanding-how-the-tardigrade-s-dna-armour-works\">special DNA armor proteins.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>But if we take a step back from their immense capacity for being beaten up, there are many other mysterious things about them.
