He\u2019s got a DARPA contract to develop his <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/electricjetaircraft.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">electric jetpack designs<\/a>, his Verticycle is a competitor in the <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/goflyprize.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">GoFly personal flight challenge<\/a>, and he\u2019s just won one of nine NASA \u201c<a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/future-scaping-skies-callenge\" target=\"_blank\">Future-Scaping Our Skies<\/a>\u201d awards for his work on ground infrastructure and air traffic control for the coming eVTOL age.<\/p>\n<p>Now he\u2019s partnered up with automotive designer Carlos Salaff to start an eVTOL company.
