The company also revealed that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.longevitytech.fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Longevitytech.fund<\/a> has joined the round as a lead investor, bringing the total investment in the company to more than $500000 so far.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt Longevitytech.fund, we invest in start-ups focused on aging that will materially \u2018move the needle,\u2019\u201d says the investment firm\u2019s managing partner, Petr Sramek. \u201cThe team at Gerostate Alpha is poised to do just that in the coming years, and we are very excited to partner with them for the long haul.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Longevity. Technology: For early stage biotech companies, particularly those targeting aging,<\/strong> <strong>securing funding is a constant challenge. Gerostate Alpha is \u201ctesting the water\u201d by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.longevity.technology\/gerostate-alpha-opens-crowdfunded-capital-raise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">exploring crowdfunding<\/a> as another financing option, and seems to have had some success with it.
