This<a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/+Scobleizer\/posts\/TcaqNeYJWXo\" data-ls-seen=\"1\"> infamous image<\/a>, posted online by tech futurist Robert Scoble just over 12 months ago, encapsulated the excitement among early adopters of this technology. Glass, a voice-controlled wearable headset connected to the internet, promised a transformation of the way we interact with computers, and each other.<\/p>\n<p>A year on and it\u2019s Scoble\u2019s enthusiasm that has been dampened. \u201cI\u2019m wearing it right now,\u201d he says. \u201cIt\u2019s really useless. I can\u2019t store more than 20 contacts, and I can\u2019t take photos and put them on Instagram or Facebook.
