But in the South, that marker is nowhere in sight for several states.<\/p>\n<p>In 15 states \u2014 including Arkansas, the Carolinas, Georgia and Louisiana \u2014 about half of adults or fewer have received a dose, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2021\/06\/03\/us\/virus-vaccine-states.html?referringSource=articleShare\" target=_top title>New York Times analysis<\/a>.
