The new technology targets, collects and sequences <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/specific+genes\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">specific genes<\/a> without sample preparation and without having to map surrounding genetic material like standard methods require.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think this will forever change how DNA sequencing is done,\u201d said Michael C.
